How to repair your bathroom

Bathrooms are little sanctuaries in our homes. They give us the opportunity to sink back and relax in a nice warm bath at the end of a busy day. They are also essential to maintaining a high level of hygienic living. When it comes to maintaining your bathroom, there may be a couple of repair jobs that you need to do.

Sealant – this is used around your sink and your shower and bath and in some cases is also used around the base of your toilet. Although sealant is incredibly durable there are instances where you might need to replace this. It is important that you use a Silicone sealant remover like those from https://www.ct1.com/product-applications/how-to-remove-silicone-sealant/ to clear away the existing sealant. You can then make sure that the surface is clean and dry before replacing it with new sealant.

Flooring – bathroom flooring tends to be vinyl and there are instances when you might start to notice that this puckers and stretches in shape. You can fix this by relaying your vinyl or having a new piece put in place. This will depend on how bad the existing flooring is.

Toilet seats – toilet seats and lids are notorious for coming off. In some cases you will be able to reposition them and tighten the screws and in other cases you might have to consider getting a whole new toilet seat to put in place.
