I want to create my own character and have it done in 3D, I think that xcom 2 has some really good base for making custom soldier. I’m thinking of doing Skyrim armor type for the future as well if you are up for it! Let me know what do you think about this idea?
What is XCOM 2 character pool?
XCOM 2 character pool is where you can extract textures, meshes and game data related to character customization. This is a useful tool for modding XCOM 2 and creating custom characters as well as making existing characters look different. I can’t think of much to do with XCOM 2’s character creator other than what it already does. It has some nice armor pieces and decals you could use for your project though! I’d be happy to see more from that game.

Can you make xcom 2 character?
I think that xcom 2 has some really good base for making custom soldier. If it is done i can do it. I think we should base the idea on Xcom 2 concept art or screenshot.
I’m not too familiar with XCOM 2’s character customization, but I sure do like the armor designs. Wouldn’t be able to use them in a 3D project though, as far as I know! If you’re going for a Skyrim look, maybe try out some of the Skyrim mods. I can’t think of anything specifically for XCOM, but I’m sure there’s plenty out there for Skyrim. How many characters can you make in XCOM 2?
The character creator in XCOM 2 is quite limited, it only gives you a few options for hairstyles and colors. You can also customize the face shape and some minor changes to facial features but that’s about all there is to play around with! I wouldn’t recommend making complete characters but more like taking interesting bits from everyone and creating an awesome amalgamation of your squad.
Get better at XCOM 2
XCOM 2 isn’t my genre, but I’m sure you could find good modding tutorials for it on YouTube. A lot of the XCOM community is very helpful so if you’re looking to get better at a specific aspect of the game definitely go check out the various communities and see what they have to say about your question! Is it possible to make a map for XCOM 2?
Making a game is nothing like making a level, and I sure as hell don’t have the understanding needed to make an entire game! However it seems like anything related to creating custom maps would be easy enough… You could play around with some of the story tools available in XCOM 2 or download ones that others have made in the Steam Workshop! Those would definitely be helpful for making custom maps.
