When its better to build than move

Housing booms seem to come and go, and Construction Companies such as www.piggottandwhitfield.co.uk/ are often building new estates and houses in areas with high population density. Whilst there will probably always be a need for new places to be made, there are some circumstances where homeowners might want to look at ways to extend their existing homes rather than move.

Homeworking – if you have found yourself moving to home working, you might be looking for some additional space that you can use for an office. If you don’t already have a spare room, you might want to consider whether having an extension or a garden office built might help with your needs.

Growing family – as children begin to grow, you often find that they need more space. Whether this is for playing with their toys or doing their homework, there is a common need for more room. Again a conservatory or a house extension can help with this and may be a lot easier than looking to relocate to a new home.

Family gatherings – if you like to entertain at home and you are looking for some additional space to do this, it is often more cost-effective to have an extension built on your ground floor than to look for a bigger home, especially as you might not be using this extra space all the time.
